In selecting the topic, the teacher should follow the scientific principle and pay attention to the students'interests, so as to select the necessary learning materials, at the same time, we should understand the actual situation of students and set up teaching situation in the "zone of recent development" so that students can "jump to pick peaches" . Here, many English teachers have neglected an important factor, that is, there are hierarchical differences between students. It is obviously unrealistic for English teachers in senior middle schools to take into account all factors when choosing topics in classroom teaching. The author believes that the best way to deal with this problem is to design tasks according to the proportion of students at all levels, make it clear what needs to be done and what needs to be achieved, and make appropriate adjustments to the tasks in a timely manner during group activities, so that some students do not have a weak accumulation of knowledge or a poor knowledge of foreign cultures, or the lack of language vocabulary, and in the English expression of the "inadequate" phenomenon, really reflects the idea of people-oriented.
