How has quarantine changed your relationship with fashion?I think my relationship with fashion has become more thoughtful and planned during quarantine. Since I don’t have to go out and get dressed every day, I feel like I have a bit more time to consider how I would like to dress and what I would like to buy. I don’t ever buy anything in a rush anymore, because I’m never really in a rush to go anywhere. I used to get really nervous about making big investment purchases. I felt like I couldn’t spend a large amount of money on one or two things because I needed to buy enough things to wear everyday, but now that I don’t need to dress up every day, I’m more comfortable with saving for one or two special things that I love.I also generally feel like I’m wanting to dress in a softer, and more comfortable way, maybe even a bit more feminine. Before quarantine I was a staunch jeans and pants loyalist, always stiff and high waisted. But lately, I have been dreaming more about longer dresses and skirts, and looser slacks. What are you most looking forward to when dressing for spring fashion?I’m excited to get out of my house! I just want to get dressed up and go meet some friends for dinner. Because I’ve missed it so much, I think I will probably put a bit more effort into getting dressed up now than I ever did in the past. I’m interested in exploring this slightly more feminine side of my style that I haven’t really embraced in the past.
