Cyclophosphamide is the alkylating agent that interferes with DNA
replication. The results of the French Pulmonary Hypertension Net-
work showed that some chemotherapeutics could be associated
with pulmonary venous occlusive disease.22The most responsible
for pulmonary embolism were cyclophosphamide (43%), mitomycin
C (24.3%), and cisplatin (21.6%).22Interestingly, the majority of
