The micro-morphology of Mo powder has great influence on the properties of Mo products. Compared with Mo powders with inhomogeneous particle size and aggregation, selecting Mo powders with uniform particle size, better dispersion, and less agglomeration as the raw materials, Mo wires present higher yield, higher tensile strength, and lower elongation at room temperature, and Mo sheets also exhibit excellent high-temperature performances and better isotropy. The reason for those is the inhomogeneous particle size and agglomeration of Mo powder greatly influence the microstructure of Mo sintered compact, and further, affect the mechanical properties of Mo products. Therefore, in order to improve the property and quality of Mo product, it should choose the Mo powder raw materials with homogeneous particle sizes, less agglomeration, and better dispersion.
