Through the in-depth study of people's needs in the public environment, the basic context of design can be clearly grasped, the goal of public space design can be clearly defined, so as to improve the relationship between people and the environment, improve the quality of the environment and the quality of people's activities. From the perspective of space, the multiple integration of the public space construction in historical blocks covers three levels, including functional design based on practical needs, environmental design based on cognitive needs, and image design based on aesthetic needs.
