As an example, if the feedstock temperature is 25˚C, and the density of the feedstock measured 0.887, the weight percent methanol of the feedstock would be 62.5%, in the weight percent range of 61 – 63% weight percent methanol. If the feedstock l tested at 64% or greater weight percent methanol (Unsafe Weight % Methanol), DO NOT RUN THE FEEDSTOCK! High weight percent methanol will clog the syngas generator and cause premature failure. If the weight percent methanol is less than 59% (Lower Weight %), the feedstock will still reform but will deliver lower amounts of syngas.
