Bacteria and microorganisms in nature are easy to adhere to the surface of materials to form biofilms. These biofilms will become the concentration of bacteria, which seriously threaten people's health. Once the biofilms are formed, it is difficult to remove the antibacterial properties of the membrane, which is one of the important directions of the development of membrane materials. In order to achieve the desired antibacterial effect, people add various types of antibacterial agents to the film materials. Generally, there are three types of antibacterial agents, including inorganic antibacterial agent, organic antibacterial agent and natural antibacterial agent. The film-forming methods used by various antimicrobial agents are also different.
Biomedical materials, as a special kind of materials, can effectively make up for the defects of the materials by surface modification coating. In the coating of materials, the problems of antibacterial, biocompatibility and antimicrobial toxicity should be considered.
In this paper, three kinds of antibacterial agents were introduced, and the antibacterial mechanism of different antibacterial agents added to the film material was analyzed. This paper introduces several common methods of film formation, summarizes the current ideas of building antibacterial films, and summarizes the development of antibacterial films at home and abroad and their application in biomedical materials.
