To our knowledge, many researchers have employed different processes to enhance ZT of Bi2Te2.7Se0.3 (BTS), in which the introduction of appropriate secondary phase is an effective strategy to improve the performance. Nevertheless, very few studies reported an average figure of merit ZTave > 1 in a broad temperature range for this material. Therefore, it is worth to investigate whether it is possible to introduce an appropriate secondary phase to maintain high performance of PF and reduced thermal conductivity, and its effect on thermoelectric performance.
