(a) Super synchronous amplitudes not to exceed 0.5 mils P-P. Sub synchronous amplitudes not to exceed 0.4 mil P-P. (b) Filtered 15 to 100 Hz (c) Maximum combined electrical and mechanical run-out shall be less than 0.65 mils P-P for 1800 rpm and 0.71 mils P-P for 1500 rpm applications. Electrical run-out and mechanical run-out should be documented separately. Unfiltered amplitude from the non-contact probes on the assembled rotor in the machine, at slow speed (200-300rpm), is indicative of the run-out. Alternatively, run-out measurements can be made using a V-block setup. If using V-blocks, slow roll measurements should also be performed on assembled machine, and results should be within the limits above. (d) Velocity limits pertain to bearing housing while displacement limits pertain to the shaft.
