Colloidal polymer particles with controllable shapes and ordered internal mesostructures gained considerable attention because of their significant potential with respect to display and sensor materials, catalysis and nano-drug carriers, and others.ISize, shape, and internal mesostructure are the most funda-mental and essential features of colloidal particles that deter-mine their performance, including optical property, releaserate, packing structure, theological behavior, etc.四 Severalmethods were developed to process homopolymers into singlecomponent colloidal polymer particles with various shapesand controllable size. There are, however, only a few examplesof multicomponent polymer particles with ordered internalmesostructures.I In particular, anisotropic polymer particleswith internal periodic mesostructures and stimuli-responsive features that are able to change their shapeand internal structure recently gained a lotof attention.
