This article first expounds the concept of multimedia through the literature research method, and then analyzes the advantages of multimedia in geography teaching and what issues should be paid attention to when using multimedia in geography teaching. Through the case analysis method, multimedia is applied to the teaching design of "Sea and Land Changes" in PEP Junior High School Geography Volume One. According to the "Compulsory Education Geography Curriculum Standard", combined with the characteristics of the subject of geography, carefully analyze the application of multimedia to this section. Educational purpose, analysis and summary of education content, teaching important and difficult points, in-depth analysis of the teaching process, in order to provide a reference for the application of multimedia in geography teaching.

本文首先通过文献研究法对多媒体的概念进行了阐述，然后分析了多媒体在地理教学中的优势以及在地理教学中应用多媒体应注意哪些问题。通过案例分析法将多媒体应用于人教版初中地理七年级上册“海陆的变迁”的教学设计当中，依据《义务教育地理课程标准》，结合地理学科的特点，认真分析将多媒体应用于本节的教育目的，分析总结教育内容，教学重难点，对教学过程进行深入分析，以期为多媒体在地理教学中的应用提供参考。<br>
