However, dense Li2Mg3TiO6 ceramics with nanometer-scale grains (1000 nm) have not been fabricated yet. The grain size distributions of Li2Mg3TiO6-based ceramics, which were recently prepared via a conventional solid state (CSS) method, ranged from 2 to 18 μm, although their relative densities were quite high [3–6]. This broad distribution of larger grain sizes was due to the selection of a coarse powder with a low sintering activity as the starting material.
