It can be seen that the peak positions are roughly the same, with a strong absorption peak around 3600 cm-1, which corresponds to the stretching vibration peak of AI-OH. The broad peak at about 3400 cm-1 is the absorption peak of hydroxyl stretching vibration of water in bentonite after treatment, and the strong absorption peak at 1630 cm-1 is also the absorption peak of water. The absorption peaks at 1035 and 800 cm-1 correspond to the inverse stretching vibration of silica. However, there is a hydrocarbon stretching vibration peak at 2987 cm-1, which does not appear on the bentonite treated with water, which proves that a small amount of plugging material is adsorbed on the surface of the bentonite, further confirming the XRD analysis results.
