Socrates demonstrated the immortality of the soul with the theory of reincarnation of the soul. He thought that the soul could not know the real existence because of the limitation of the feeling and emotion of the body's change when he was alive. Only when the soul got rid of the fetters of the body could he realize the idea of the real existence. He reintroduced "the theory of recollection": when the soul is combined with the body again, its original knowledge about ideas is forgotten; after birth, through the feeling of specific things, the knowledge of ideas is recalled. He pointed out that ideas are fundamentally different from the concrete things we see in this world. Concrete things have birth and death and are constantly changing. They are not pure and relative. While ideas are pure, single, indivisible, unchangeable and immortal, they are invisible, sacred and intelligent truth. In the dialogue, Socrates talked about how he realized the "turning of mind". He said: when he was young, he was as keen on studying the problems of nature as the former natural philosophers. Later, he could not satisfy the quest. When he heard anaxagora put forward "Nuss", he was very happy, but after reading anaxagora's works, he was disappointed because anaxagora still used some material factors to explain the emergence and existence of things. He said that the use of bones, muscles and other activities could not explain why he sat here waiting to die. He did so only because he thought it was just and "good", which was the real reason. He came to the conclusion that the reason of all beautiful things is "the idea of beauty". Beautiful things are beautiful because of "sharing". The idea of beauty is the purpose of all beautiful things. They try to achieve it, but they can never achieve the absolute and complete beauty. It seems that human beings live under the deep sea and mistakenly think that the things under the sea are the real world. Only when he rises above the water can he see the real sun and the world. Only when man is free from the bondage of his body can he realize the true idea.
