At the beginning of the DMAIC, the team measured the definition of the problem, counted the defects, analyzed the causes of the change, and measured the success of the improvement. In the control stage, the team still needs to focus on the measurement, and must make clear the key points to be measured, including not only the measurement of response variables, but also the measurement of key factors under production conditions. Two key points need to be noted:SIPOC chart of improvement process: for the improved process, improve the process of SIPOC chart, and timely discover product defects or process changes; key variables of control process: determine that the upstream process variables to be measured are closely related to the improvement, and the continuous measurement of this process will predict the downstream results. Control all key variables of the process to ensure that the output of the process meets the requirements.In many enterprises, the operator files are not executed effectively. An important reason is the lack of clear standards and disciplines in the process of implementation, and the process control is not standardized. When program files and job execution become two skins, process control becomes empty talk.
