With the progress of science and technology, intelligent and mechatronic technology is becoming more and more popular, a variety of high-tech is also widely used in the field of smart cars, so that smart cars are more and more diversified. Smart car is an integration of various high-tech, it combines electronics, machinery, sensors and software, intelligence and many other kinds of scientific knowledge, can involve many cutting-edge technology and fields. In this paper, a simple intelligent car system based on microcontroller control is designed, which focuses on the software, hardware composition method and design method of intelligent car system. The car will be STC89C52 as the core control, the use of a microcontroller to control the L298N motor drive module, control the intelligent car walking. The road obstacles will be accurately detected by ultrasonic sensors in order to realize the function of obstacle avoidance. Infrared sensors are used to detect road tracks and feed detected signals back to a microcontroller to achieve track-through functions. The single opportunity to judge and analyze the collected signal, the control drive motor will allow the intelligent car to turn function, so that the intelligent car avoids the obstacles ahead, walks along the route, realizes the automatic track of the intelligent car and the function of avoiding obstacles.
