At present, more and more companies are engaged in innovative product design or mold design and development based on Moldflow technology. Design and research of home appliance mould based on Moldflow technology, introduced from two major systems of home appliance injection mould: pouring system and molding system, in the pouring system, different glue feeding methods and the same glue feeding method and different glue feeding positions can produce different quality defects for products or solve different quality defects. In the molding system, different mold structures are used to solve mold problems, 3D printing technology and bionics principle are used to optimize and improve the traditional mold structures, and bionic mold structures are developed and manufactured to further solve mold problems. Production practice proves that 3D printing technology can solve the abnormal gas emission problem of molds. This paper mainly studies the research and development of home appliance mould design based on Moldflow technology, and points out the direction for the mould design scheme. Two models are introduced: one model can improve the mold exhaust from different gating systems of home appliance injection mold, and the other model is that the mold exhaust assembly exhaust or bionic steel exhaust designed and manufactured by integrating 3D printing metal additive manufacturing technology can solve the mold problem. The results show that the design and research of home appliance mould based on Moldflow technology integrates 3D printing metal additive manufacturing technology to design, develop and manufacture bionic steel, optimize the mould structure by using the unique physical properties and unique structural functions of bionic steel, and produce qualified products by injection molding, which brings better experience to users.
