5. Results and DiscussionFollowing the methodology described in Section 3, the informationgathered for the 17 Spanish regions is first used to build strong andweak sustainability composite indicators for each dimension, whichare then aggregated into the weak and strong tourism sustainability indexes. Table 2 shows the weights obtained for the indicators with Eq.(9) and Table 3 contains the values of the strong and weak indices derived from Eqs. (4)–(7).
