Pneumatic oil blowdown system function as follows:Pneumatic air pressure for charging the oil is set at maximum air line pressure (95 to 100 psi)Once the mixing recipe calls for oil injection, the ram goes upOil in the oil holding tank is pneumatically pushed into the mixer thru the oil injectorOnce the sensor senses no flow or low pressure at the bottom of the oil holding tank, the air purge condition is activated for an additional 1 to 2 seconds (time set via a B timer or PLC) At the end of this air purge time, the signal is given for the ram to go back downThis completes the oil injection cycle
