Abstract: Electromagnetic levitation is an engineering processing method in which the principles of electromagnetic induction and electromagnetic force are applied to material processing. It is still a relatively new technology in the field of material processing. Its main application is in the smelting of suspended metals. It has the advantages of no container wall pollution, uniform melt, fast heating and melting speed, and fast surface vapor-liquid equilibrium speed.
