George V says: May 10, 2020 at 4:49 am I wonder if the folks in the White House will be used to validate much of what we’ve been hearing about asymptomatic carriers and how testing will save us all. But us plebes will probably never hear of any followup. I am getting getting suspicious about the tests as well as people who have and spread the virus but are totally asymptomatic. In the case of Katie Miller will we hear if she ever develops symptoms? Will she be tested again tomorrow? Next week? Will they find out that a person who tests positive one day is negative the next? If she or someone continues to test positive but is asymptomatic can they breathe or cough on a slide that can be examined for the virus? Remember, we are told all these asymptomatic people are out there so we have to be locked down. Will they find actual Covid-19 virus or maybe she only has a common cold and that virus also registers on Covid tests? If she tests positive over some days or weeks, then tests negative, will they examine her blood for antibodies? Will they use a number of antibody tests since they don’t appear to be too accurate?There’s a wonderful test case here – I hope they take advantage of if.
