abstract<br>The treatment of highway slope is of great significance to protect people's life and property and ensure smooth traffic. The slope treatment and design of the work area is based on the data collected in the first bid section of rural road network construction project in Suining City, Sichuan Province, combined with the theoretical knowledge learned in the undergraduate stage and the suggestions given by the tutor, according to the relevant books and specifications. Before the treatment, the stability of the cutting slope is evaluated. In this design, Bishop method is used to calculate the slope stability coefficient and the sliding thrust. According to the requirements of the code, the slope stability with different stability coefficients is classified, and the reasonable treatment scheme should be made for the slope which is evaluated as unstable. At present, the control measures of highway high and steep slope include shotcrete anchor mesh support technology, anti slide pile wall, bolt support and other supporting structures. Because of its strong adaptability, anchor engineering is especially suitable for many landslides with deep sliding surface, which has little interference to landslide stability and geological environment. It can be constructed with multiple piles at the same time, and the work area is short. After the slope stability evaluation is completed, according to the geotechnical engineering investigation report and relevant data, through analysis and comparison, the optimal support scheme - bolt support is selected from the three feasible schemes. Then, the bolt design calculation is carried out, and the reasonable drainage scheme design, slope protection scheme design and slope greening scheme design are designed. The design results of the project are obtained. The detailed construction organization design is also carried out in the design, and a more reasonable and scientific construction scheme is formulated. Finally, the project budget is prepared, and the total cost of the project budget is about 10000 yuan.<br>
