A lower magnitude of corium generat

A lower magnitude of corium generation is observed for different break cases with HA injection as compared to cases without HA injection (Table 4 and Fig. 21). Though in these cases the total cumulative oxidation power is higher (Fig. 22, Fig. 23, Fig. 24) resulting in higher hydrogen generation, cooling from HA injection has lowered the generation of corium mass. It is to be noted that corium mass generation for 150 mm is low (51.3 tons) as compared to 850 mm break (77.7 tons) and 50 mm break (80.3 tons). As pointed out earlier for 50 mm break the injection remains low or occasional leading to longer heatup and larger corium formation.
