Content validity is an assessment of a measure based on the appropriateness of its contents. Content validity is often determined by having participants complete the measure and then having experts analyze the items in the measure and the answers they elicit to determine whether they reflect the concept that the measure was attempting to describe. The term content validity refers to how well a survey or test measures the construct that it sets out to measure. For example, our science tests have high validity requirements. Science tests generally have a defined scope, and then the difficulty of the test is determined based on the objectives, and the scores are used to visualize the students' mastery.
