From the development requirements of the civil aviation transportation industry and the recruitment requirements of airlines for cabin crew, they have made corresponding requirements for the English communication skills of cabin crew. In this practical context, students majoring in flight attendants must attach great importance to the improvement of their cabin English pragmatic skills, in order to ensure that they form an advantage in the employment process and ultimately lay the foundation for their smooth entry into cabin service positions. In this regard, this article conducts further research on the English pragmatic competence of flight attendant students. Based on an overall overview of the definition and necessity of English pragmatic competence, it focuses on analyzing and pointing out the problems and reasons for the English pragmatic competence of flight attendant students. Finally, with the problems and reasons as important directions, multiple strategies are proposed to provide specific guidance for effectively improving the English pragmatic competence of flight attendant students
