This paper mainly studies the automatic management system of the library return office. By comparing with the existing automatic sorting system in other industries, this paper puts forward a circular sorting concept, and further designs an automatic sorting system integrating book feeding and book carrier. Through the drawing of three-dimensional modeling software, the three-dimensional model is created to solve the problem of automatic scanning, sorting and stacking of books in university or social library. In addition, the analysis and calculation of stiffness, strength, life and stability of some important parts are done again, which further improves the system.<br>This design adopts the modular design concept, which is convenient for the user to choose and later serialization; the book feed module can provide the book horizontal movement and positioning, and provide a stable scanning frequency for the page turning module; the circular stacking module makes full use of the surrounding space without moving the turntable.
