I am confident that I will succeed in this MSc due to the strong base I have acquired through my undergraduate studies. The Financial Management module I completed familiarised me with how finance influences all aspects of a business. I gained a strong understanding of financial managements’ principles, concepts, analytical techniques, and practical applications in relation to a firms' operations. The Management Information System module provided me with knowledge of the key aspects of information technology, and the role of information systems in a professional context. The Financial Analysis module evaluated the strategies that are employed to assess the financial position and performance of a firm. Moreover, it provided me with a critical awareness of how capital markets use financial data to carry out valuations. I became highly skilled in the rudimentary identification methods of Window dressing that are utilised in reports, financial ability analysis, and the DuPont analysis system. In addition, through these modules I became proficient in the accurate use of numbers and learned to work autonomously whilst being efficient, timely, and methodical.
