Summary<br>The main task of road engineering surveying is to provide detailed and accurate measurement materials for road design, making it reasonable, economical, and applicable. The essence of road engineering surveying is to serve the smooth construction of various stages of the project, which is divided into initial surveying and location surveying. At each stage, technical information must be provided for design, construction, and operation to ensure the feasibility and accuracy of the design, the correctness of guidance and supervision, and the safety of operational management.<br>This article combines the domestic and international development and application status of curve lofting in road engineering surveying. Through the research on the calculation method of encrypted point coordinates in curve lofting and the method of using total station and RTK to carry out coordinate lofting, the accuracy analysis of the data collected in the experiment, the process of calculating encrypted point coordinates in curve lofting by computer software programming, the design and implementation process of curve lofting in road engineering survey are described in detail.
