Thispaperrepresentsanextensiononthepaper[1]wherean improvedgeometryofmixingbladesforplanetaryconcretemix-ersintermsofwearresistancewasshownanddiscussed.Inpar-ticular,theauthorsproposedanewblade'sdesignonthebasisofa theoreticalqualitativeapproach(freshconcretemodel[2–5]ac-tionsontheblades[6–9]powerconsumption[10]),andthenthey performedexperimentalcampaignsinordertostudyandde-monstratetheefficiencyofthenewblade'sgeometry.Experi-mentalresults,basedona2Dcomparisonofwornprofiles,showedthatthenewdesignedbladewasthebestoneintermsof wearresistanceandlowerpowerconsumptionifcomparedtothe standardTbladenormallyusedinplanetaryconcretemixers.
