Hydrogen is a kind of promising renewable energy source. As an important carrier of hydrogen energy to achieve power generation, the proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) has wide application prospects in numerous fields [1–3], such as cogeneration, stationary power system, electric vehicles and rail-transit. Notably, it is associated with the advantages of operation at normal temperature , environmental friendliness and high efficiency. Typically , the high-power water-cooled integrated PEMFC system is preferable, when the specific energy and service life enhancement of the system are taken into consideration.
