So, as I write this… ‘I’m glad that I have electricity.’ ‘I’m glad that I have heat (it’s freezing outside).’ ‘I’m glad that my sweet dog is on the floor beside me and I can hear him snoring.’ ‘I’m glad that I am happily anticipating a dinner date with my husband planned for tonight.’ ‘I’m glad for my comfortable office chair with the absolutely perfect lumbar support as I sit in front of my computer typing.’ ‘I’m glad that my computer is working properly’, and so on.
