This project decided to check the impact of two example actions, with the aim of getting more female employees to use stairs in a five-story construction site. The first thing to do is to put up a health sign to connect the use of stairs with health and fitness. The second thing is an e-mail sent by the on-site doctor. The content is to ask him to point out how regular use of stairs is really beneficial to overall health. The study lasted four weeks: one week from baseline, one week after symptoms appeared, one week after receiving email, and three weeks later. The usage of stairs increased a lot in the week after the sign, from 69% of the baseline to 77%, and then to 89% after receiving the email. But four weeks after the email was sent out, the usage rate of stairs dropped to 67%. The original plan was that these simple actions would make people use the stairs more frequently, but this positive effect disappeared after one month. Therefore, it is difficult to make any suggestions based on the evidence.
