The results of the research suggest that students are interested in the teaching method in class. However, there is much difference between ii teachers and students on the contents of Situational Language Teaching Method applying for. Through the analysis of the questionnaires, the problems of the method are found out and the possible reasons are also analyzed. English teachers should learn more about Situational Language Teaching Method to attract students’ involvements in the situational activities and lighten up situational language teaching in classroom; use the forms of the method selectively and strengthen interaction between teachers and students to optimize the effect of Situational Language Teaching Method.
