When your implant planning is complete, this wizard will guide you to create a 3D representation of the SIMPLANT® Guide. With this 3D representation, you can check for yourself if all implants are positioned in such a way that a well-fitting SIMPLANT® Guide can be produced. When running through the Request SIMPLANT Guide wizard, you could encounter in step 3 the choice between two guide options, the FastTrack guide and the Traditional guide. Within both options, it is possible to order a physical SIMPLANT® Guide. The Traditional guideThis offers you the option to create a rather rough 3D preview of the SIMPLANT® Guide. It is very helpful to see if an implant is positioned too close to a patient’s tooth, or if it is positioned too close to each other. You can order a SIMPLANT® Guide based on this 3D representation, but you have no control over the dimensions of the supporting surface. They will be defined by the specialists of the SIMPLANT production team. Creating a preview of the guide is no longer needed. You can order a guide and specify all needed information, without creating a preview of the guide. The Traditional Guide option handles cases that :1. are certified or non-certified and 2. tooth extractions can be specified. 3. additional remarks can be added. The FastTrack SIMPLANT® Guide guideA second guide option within the wizard, offers you complete control over the supporting surface dimensions : this allows you to order directly a SIMPLANT® Guide. This second part is only available if your SIMPLANT project is certified. The Design FastTrack SIMPLANT® Guide option only handles cases that :1. are certified and 2. that do not contain tooth extractions;3. no additional remarks can be added;4. you have the latest implant libraries. You can find more information on certified and non-certified SIMPLANT projects here.
