The ycf1 gene occurs across the SSC and IR regions, while the remaining 17 genes are entirely located within the IR regions. Fifteen genes (trnK-UUU, trnG-GCC, trnL-UAA, trnV-UAC, trnIGAU, trnA-UGC, rps16, rpoC1, rpl16, rpl2, petB, petD, atpF, ndhA and ndhB) contain a single intron, while another two genes (clpP and ycf3) contain two introns. The nucleotides consists of 30.5% A, 19.5% C, 18.7% G and 31.3% T. The overall GC content of the chloroplast genome is 38.2%, with the corresponding values of 36.4, 32.8 and 43.1% for the LSC, SSC and IR regions, respectively.
