3. Another point of consciousness is the size of the symbol for each part of speech. The noun is large, because the noun is most important. The adjective is smaller, because it is not as important, and the article is smallest because it is least important. For example, I can say table – pencil – rug – and all these words have a real meaning. I can say blue – red- green – and there is some meaning, but not enough for a complete thought. I want to know: a blue what? – a red what? If I say a – an – the – there is no meaning at all.
