I purchased the vacuum in March 2019 so I've had it for awhile. It's lightweight and easy to manuveur. I really like it except it has a major design flaw. I have 2 cats, a large dog & 2 people with long hair in my house. Shortly after purchasing the vacuum I had to replace the brush roller. Hair/fur had wrapped around the brush roller on the non belt end causing it to shift and the end became damaged. I bought a new brush roller (it was expensive) and since then I made sure to clean it and remove any hair. I was so worried about damaging the brush roller again I would stop and clean it several times while vacuuming. It didn't help, the same thing happened again. This time I pulled the end cap off and found hair wrapped around the shaft inside the end cap. I also pulled off the bearing and found hair wrapped behind it. The hair had even worked it's way in between the plastic brush roller & the metal shaft. It took a lot of time & a tweezer to remove all the hair. I can't afford to keep replacing the brush roller. I put the bearing back on the shaft and I modified the end cap. The inside of the cap has hollow spaces so I took a piece of felt and cut it to fit inside the cap & fill the hollow spaces. It helps to keep some of the hair from working it's way into the area & wrapping around the shaft. I still have to stop and clean the brush while I'm vacuuming and periodically I have to remove the end cap & bearing and use a tweezer to pull out the hair that has wrapped around the shaft & inside the plastic part. It's a hassle that I shouldn't have to go through because of a poorly designed part. I wouldn't recommend buying the vacuum unless you like to waste your time fixing someone else's mistake.
