The aim of this paper is to investigate the influence of the amount of the binder on the BaTiO3 ceramics prepared by tape casting technique in the condition of other organic additives such as dispersants and plasticizer content are optimized. Both the ceramic monoliths without internal electrodes and multilayer elements with internal electrodes were all prepared by the tape casting method. The green and sintering densities of the BaTiO3 ceramics derived from different binder amounts were studied. The room temperature resistivity after reoxidation, and PTCR jump were also measured. Surface SEM images of BaTiO3 ceramic samples sintered at 1150 °C in reducing atmosphere derived from different binder amounts were observed at the same time.
