With the prolongation of pulp opening time, the degree of pulp inflammation gradually increased, and pulp necrosis occurred 7 days after pulp opening; The results of immunofluorescence staining showed that in healthy rat dental pulp tissue, AIM2 was mainly expressed in the odontoblast layer, with only a small amount expressed in the dental pulp cell layer; After pulp opening, the expression level of AIM2 in the rat pulp cell layer significantly increased. Therefore, we believe that there is the presence of AIM2 in the rat pulp tissue, and as the pulp opening time prolongs, the expression level of AIM2, especially in the pulp cell layer, significantly increases, indicating a certain connection between the expression of AIM2 and the inflammatory response of the pulp. At this point, we have confirmed the expression of AIM2 inflammasome in dental pulp tissue and the change in its expression level is positively correlated with inflammation.
