Dietary inflammation index (DII), derived from the literature linking diet and inflammation, has been developed to quantify the overall inflammatory potential of diet. Diet plays a key role in the regulation of chronic inflammation and is an important regulatory factor. If the inflammatory potential of diet is very high, it can stimulate immune regulation and cause chronic inflammation. DiI can be used to evaluate and guide individual dietary plans. In this study, we collected relevant domestic literature to review the correlation between dietary inflammatory index and inflammation, in order to prevent the related diseases caused by chronic inflammation by reducing the inflammatory components in diet.
