About the question about the diameter of the ducting for R-311, please see here our notes.1. The current solution foresees the narrowing of the pipe to permit that part of the flow in the main manifold could be addressed, acting with the 3 butterfly valves to R-331.2. The alternative, as per the attached sketch, consists in the connection of the manifold from FL-310 directly to R-311. This solution has the disadvantage that it needs the installation of an additional piece of pipe DN400 of approx. 5 mt. length. On the contrary, it has the advantage to reduce approx. 7 mt. of manifold from DN600 to DN400/500 and to eliminate the 3 butterfly valves (for one of them you can see the cross in the attached sketch) with a consistant improvement for the set up of the pipeline.
