The part (as shown in the right picture) includes two basic processes of punching and punching, and there are three process options as follows:Option 1: First cut the material, then punch the hole. Use single-process mold production.Scheme 2: Blanking-punching compound stamping, using compound mold production.Scheme 3: Blanking and continuous stamping, using progressive die production.Solution 1: The mold structure is simple, but two processes and two sets of molds are required, and the productivity is low, and it is difficult to meet the annual production requirements of parts. The second solution requires only one mold, the shape and position accuracy and dimensional accuracy of the stamping parts are easily guaranteed, and the productivity is high. Although the mold structure is more complex than the first solution, the mold manufacturing is not difficult due to the simple and symmetrical geometry of the parts. Scheme 3 also only needs one mold, and the productivity is also high, but the manufacture and installation of the mold are more complicated than the composite mold. Through the analysis and comparison of the above three schemes, the second scheme is the best scheme for stamping production. The performance of the three processes is shown in Table 2-2.
