There are some problems while tracking the workpiece , when the ball-screw drive system is undergoing some machinery process ,then there occurs some tendency of vibration to the workpiece table as a result of the process.So that accurate tracking should be precise even in the presence of vibration. The bandwidth of the closed loop system is reduced by the flexible modes and this will create constraints on the speed of tracking. Another challenge is the dynamics of the ball-screw drive system is continuously varies during the machining operation due to the changes in stiffness. This varying dynamics will reduces the required performance of the ball-screw drives, proper controllers should have to adopted for controlling the system. For that studied the control of flexible system in various applications with different challenges. Some of them are servo driver [1],piezo-electric actuator [3], flexible beams [2],robotic manipulator [4].Several approaches were considered for proper tracking and vibration suppression [5],a learning controller is used to filter out the undesired signal from the reference command for avoiding the excitation of resonant modes [6].
