Abstract: in modern metallurgical industry, hydrometallurgy is an irreplaceable important industry, and iron ion is a harmful element in hydrometallurgy. Therefore, how to remove iron in hydrometallurgy has become an important research direction of modern hydrometallurgy industry. Jarosite method, as the most widely used method of removing iron, has a very important application in industry, but jarosite is currently used In addition to iron, there are some defects in the efficiency of the process, and there is often no way to achieve the highest efficiency in the production process. It is very important to study the jarosite process for improving the production efficiency of hydrometallurgy and reducing the material loss. In this paper, the precipitation data and products of jarosite under different conditions are studied<br>(1) Through the analysis of the concentration and kinetics of jarosite precipitation process, the influencing factors of jarosite precipitation process are obtained, and the influence of these factors on jarosite precipitation process is further understood on the basis of previous studies.<br>(2) This paper studies the reaction process and phase change of jarosite precipitation, analyzes and arranges the previous studies, and concludes that jarosite can produce better crystal when the temperature is increased, and the crystal shape of jarosite is poor when the temperature is lower.<br>(3) Increasing the reaction temperature is beneficial to increase the reaction rate and precipitation rate of jarosite reaction, and the crystal shape is better. The experimental results show that the activation energy of jarosite reaction is 23.52KJ/mol 。<br>Key words: jarosite, precipitation rate, kinetics<br>
