Due to the small sample size and the short duration of the study, the final recommendations were limited to the short-term level, which did not explain the impact of long-term English self-learning on English scores or English proficiency. In subsequent studies, more emphasis should be placed on the selection of samples, with the appropriate sample size as a prerequisite, and secondly, the study span can be extended to one year or more. Finally, the object of this study is limited to students, later can increase the interview with parents and teachers, a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics of students in the process of self-learning style, and finally for the study to put forward more and more constructive suggestions.
