Abstract: Objective: To investigate the clinical application of small pupil cataract surgery techniques. Methods: hospital on January 2017 - October 2019 during the 30 cases were treated with small pupil cataract patients for the study, these patients for different circumstances, rational treatment of small pupil, taken phacoemulsification intraocular lens implantation intraoperative treatment, vision correction, and the incidence of complications before and after treatment. Results: After 1 month of treatment the patient visual acuity> 0.5 were accounted for 65.6%, visual acuity than before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). 32 eye patients were no serious complications. Conclusion: cataract patients according to the specific circumstances of different small pupil, the use of appropriate clinical efficacy of surgical method is safe and reliable, can promote the improvement of visual acuity. <br>Key words: small pupil; cataract; phacoemulsification; the way chop technique

Methods: Selected 30 patients with small pupil cataracts admitted to the hospital between January 2017 and October 2019 as the subjects, for the specific circumstances of these patients, reasonable treatment of small pupils, cataract ultrasound emulsification and artificial crystal implantation treatment, and compare the incidence of vision correction and complications before and after treatment. Results: After 1 month of treatment, the patient's vision was 65.6% of the patients' vision was 0.5%, the vision was significantly higher than before the treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05). The patient had no serious complications after 32 eye surgery. According to the different situations of these patients, the reasonable treatment of small pupil was carried out, and cataract phacoemulsification + intraocular lens implantation was adopted to treat the patients, and the rate of vision correction and complications before and after treatment were compared. Results: after one month of treatment, 65.6% of the patients had vision > 0.5. The difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). No serious complications occurred in 32 eyes.
