ccording to Wood, Bruner, and Ross (1976), The term “scaffolding” refers toan support action that is supported by an expert to allow a novice to perform tasks, solve problems, or achieve goals he or she cannot achieve. They define it as a process,“that enables a child or novice to solve a task or achieve a goal that would be beyond his unassisted efforts. ”(1976: 90). As they pointed out, scaffolding need adults to control tasks and understand the initial factors beyond the scope of learning oflearners. So that learners can concentrate on only those factors within the scope of hisor her ability.
