The samples interpolation consists in filling the gaps between the ADC samples by inserting calculated values according to a specific algorithm, so to improve the visualization of the signal details. The highest real-time sampling rate of OSCxxx is different from each other. The default interpolation algorithm is performed with sine function 4x. For example, a device with 80MSa/s per channel, for smooth signals, it corresponds to a 320MSa/s of sampling rate. Another available interpolation algorithm is the linear interpolation, a simple and light method which calculates the interpolated values with the linear interpolation among adjacent samples.
