Hi all sourcing HQ lab, I have a question which needs your feedback by end of this Thursday Aug 20th. Because some of us are going on vacation afterwards. Washable shoe is making a comeback as a technical function. I know Harald and I have deleted FGT-07 Adi washing because it was causing confusion between FGT-07 and FGT-14. Now Aleks is suggesting to bring back FGT-07 and follow ISO test method if a shoe is labelled as washable. My opinion is that we could simply use FGT-14 to check the wash-ability of a shoe based on appearance, durability, etc. What is the status at factory right now with FGT-07? Do all the factories still have a separate household washing machine to conduct FGT-07? Or would they need to purchase new machines if we implement FGT-07 again? How different is FGT-14 compared to FGT-07? Did the samples look very different coming out of these two tests or they were almost interchangeable? Can we use FGT-14 to check the wash-ability of a shoe? Appreciate your quick feedback! thanks!
