1.08 Linings and flooring are given in square metres measured on the external face. No deduction is made for voids not exceeding 0.50 m2. 1.09 Rates for measured work are deemed to include the costs of: fixing including framing, bearers, grounds, battens, batten clips, additional supports, and breather paper lining, jointing including cover and jointing strips, cover mouldings, margins, expansion strips, fire stop and the like, factory finishes, work at any height above floor level, work of any width, height or girth, work laid diagonally, working over and around obstructions integral services, into recesses and the like, including additional materials, internal and external angles and abutments, preservative and fire retardant treatments, access panels and holes for pipes services and the like. 2.
